This is another in a series of photos I took at my Uncle’s house, who is a retired Biology teacher and flower aficionado.
We had a rough beginning to our growing season in the end of Virginia that borders Tennessee. Some early rain and warmth followed by a cold spell caused many of our dahlia bulbs to rot in the ground.

Oh what a marvelous dahlia. 😀
My uncle has had his dahlias for a while, so they are all different varieties than the ones Wal Mart or Lowes carry.
