Six on Saturday – Zinnias – August 17, 2019

I have been away from my gardening focus for almost six days, so I am pretty excited to see how many more sunflowers are blooming when I can see them after sunrise tomorrow. I planted a few thousand seeds to cover whatever the germination rate turned out to be. With saved seeds you just never know. Since I have already featured the sunny giants on SoS I thought the supporting cast could take the stage.

I know there’s nothing fancy here just simple Zinnias, but as you see from the shadows they are the understudy to the stars, the sunflowers.

Give a look or join up with the Propogator.

      1. My big sunflower crop was in about the first third of blooming when I left for the 5-day mission trip I will finish today. I am excited to see how many more have bloomed in my absence period
